Rebecca's Lovely Giveaway

Good morning everyone!

I don't know if I am feeling excited or nervous or perhaps I am feeling both. :D Today I will be conducting my grand demo for my major subject. Whatever I will be going to do later, I want to enjoy it. After all, this is what I really want: to be a teacher.

Setting this aside, I want to share this lovely giveaway, Rebecca is hosting in her blog here. Today might be the last day, so hurry!

Blessings,
Raquel

A Life in the Valley

What a busy day!

This day seemed like a looong, tiring day and felt like being buried with the projects and requirements for the class needed to be accomplished and passed quickly. There was a very short time given to us to work on those things that we thought would be so impossible to finish.

I admit I felt so down, so discouraged when I see my classmates freaking out, getting mad, and shouting at us. I knew they were just so stressed...like me. Our professors, also, were very busy. One of them did not attend our class. Others did but we had to listen to negative sermons because of misunderstanding. I knew everyone had his own problems to face. I had mine troubles, too. And I almost cried because of the unexpected events that happened to us.

But despite all that, today is a very meaningful day for me because I learned a lot of things. I learned that time management is very important. Though tis true that we have a very limited time to do our requirements, we would not have been that stressed if we had been more organized. Procrastinating is very deceiving. Just when you thought you were just 'resting', it can actually consume time without you noticing it.

Weakness also have both negative and positive effects for you. It can lead you to have low self-esteem. It can discourage you. It can limit your potentials. On the other hand, weakness can also teach you to be more humble and dependent on God as well as trust His wonderful pan for your life.

God has a lot more things to work in my life! But even though I really feel like giving up, I simply cannot. God hates quitters. He wants us, as His followers, to strive hard and strive for mastery. No matter how difficult it may be, I know His grace is sufficient for me above all and He will never leave me nor forsake me.

Still, in the end, only Jesus can put a smile on my face and peace in my heart. I will strive harder and do my best for the Master!

Hi!

Just want to tell you that...

Yes, you are.

Sometimes, we may feel very inferior or we don't belong. We may see ourselves as failure and no good individuals...or even invisible. No matter what you think or other people tell you, always remember:

You are special.

And you will always be very special. The Bible says in Psalms 139:14, "I will praise thee; for I am FEARFULLY and WONDERFULLY made..."

In original Hebrew text,

FEARFULLY means 'with heartfelt interest and respect'

and

WONDERFULLY means 'uniquely marvelous'

This is how God made everyone of us. With heartfelt interest and respect. Uniquely marvelous. And that includes you!

Is Anything Too Hard for God?

Hello everyone! I found another good song and I thought it would be nice to share this to you. I am sure everyone of us is facing his/her own problem and there are times we want to give up, but this song serves as an encouragement for us that we should rest on His promise and rely on Him because He's more powerful than we could ever imagine. If your face is frowning right now, try to smile and think about how much God loves you. And remember, He's A LOT BIGGER than your problems and discouragements in life!

Below the lyrics is a video of the song from Youtube. You may listen and sing with them. :)

It's out of your hands you've done all you can do
You've given God the problem, it's no longer up to you
You've prayed the prayer of faith, you're standing on God's truth
While waiting on the answer, He has a question for you

Is anything too hard for God?
Who's got a problem beyond His power to solve
Are there situations He's not the Master of?
Is anything too hard for God?

Only believe, trust His Word you'll see
His plans are now unfolding, performing perfectly
It's clear how much He loves you, look at all He's done
For all your questions, there is really only one

Is anything too hard for God?
Who's got a problem beyond His problem to solve
Are there situations He's not the Master of?
Is anything too hard for God?

Are there situations He's not the Master of?
Is anything too hard for God?

May God bless you!
